Inventor for Mattel and creator of the Barbie doll. Sold over a billion toys across the world and has received multiple awards. One of the most well-known toy makers in the world.

Picture
Built a career to become one of the most well-known people in South Africa. First South African celebrity to launch reality TV show and first black South African woman to be on countless magazine covers.

Amelia Earhart

Pilot
Picture
A trailblazer in aviation, setting records, including being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Known for writing books on aviation and being a leader figure of the Ninety-Nines, an organization set up for female pilots.

Explorer

Part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition that traveled across the U.S. Role was to form relationships with cultural groups and to help with local knowledge within the different regions they explored. Seen as a woman of independence.
