Highly regarded novelist who wrote multiple successful books. Novels have been made into numerous forms of entertainment. Work is considered to be highly influential in 20th-century feminist thought.

​Rachael Heyhoe Flint

Athlete

A hugely successful cricketer and took England to World Cup glory in 1973. The first female cricketer to hit a 6 in a test match and become a member of the MCC. Was a pioneer in how women were seen in sports.

Academic
Picture
Studied both philosophy and mathematics. Most well known for translating a book of Isaac Newton's and building upon his theories. The translation covers the basic law of physics and is still used today

Royal
Picture
The first woman to be a minister in the United Arab Emirates. Held positions as a minister in International Cooperation and Economy and Planning. Listed, in Forbes, as one of the most influential and powerful women in the world.

An educator, humanitarian, and poet. Awarded a Nobel Prize in Literature for Poetry and became the first woman from South Africa to do so.
